My Review
I enjoyed this book, and it was a pretty easy read. I think that Kylie did what she felt she had to do when she started stripping. I liked that when she and Brad got pregnant that they got married. Her parents did not approve of her choices, and as such she felt she could not turn to them when the going got tough. So she did what she felt she could to support her daughter and herself. I hated that Brad left and did not just walk away, and that she did not at some point just file for abandonment of their marriage, but I also feel like she was young and without any guidance in her life she may not have known that might have been available to her.
She meets Evan one night while stripping. He is good looking, rich, and as they start dating is good to her daughter, which are all pluses in my book. I hated that she was not honest from the beginning about where she was at in her marriage. Evan and Kylie have some great chemistry and there are some hot scenes in the book. I liked where they were going until they started to fight about things. Every couple has misunderstandings and they fight. What drove me nuts about Kylie and Evan was that they would walk out on each other, and not resolve their issues. I had to remind myself several times that she is young, but Evan was a bit older. It stands to reason that she had a good home life as a child and probably did not witness all this push and pull, so I just did not understand it. There are plenty of other detractors for this couple – His family, Brad coming back, her marriage, that I felt them never being a strong united front was more damaging at times to their relationship.
Overall I like this book, and think that you will as well. I was given a copy to review, but also purchased it.

About A Novel Love

I have always had a book in my hand. With ebooks many in hand! I really enjoy sharing my favorite authors with people, and helping others find a new favorite author. When I was young I knew I was in trouble when I was sent to my room and COULD NOT read. Truly a tragic punishment for sure! Join me to talk about books we love or help others find new books to read! I am willing to read books in exchange for an honest review, and would be happy to participate in blog tours and cover reveals. Some of the types of books I enjoy are romance, romantic suspense, alpha males, rockers, paranormal (shifter), tattooed guys, contemporary romance, MMA fighters, NA romance, Christian romance, sports romance, ménage and BDMS.
